About Us

JAIPUR WAX MUSEUM is the World’s first wax museum, sited on the edge of the Aravalli hills at a 300-years old heritage Nahargarh Fort of Jaipur. The museum has segregated its attractions based on different themes and displayed it in the “Shastragaar” and “Vishraamghar” sections of the Fort.

HALL OF ICONS: The museum tour begins at the ‘Hall of Icons’, this place has been crafted with an idea of giving local and international tourists a memorable experience, the museum showcases wax and silicon statues of the personalities who have not only given the best to their own fields but also have been iconic for the society. A new place that holds the figures from history, cinema, sports celebrities, Literature, art & culture and royal grandeur under one roof, Each exhibit is complete with a detailed backdrop or intricately designed sets. This area also displays a special section for kids where they can meet their favorite super hero characters & cartoons figures.

ROYAL DARBAR: Rajasthan Tourism would be incomplete without a taste of royalty. An exclusive area earlier known as Vishraamghar (warrior’s rest area) has been re-designed to resemble a charming royal courtroom from the 18th century. Aptly named The Royal Darbar, right from the entrance till the end, it is decorated with the enchanted paintings that depict the rich heritage of Rajputana Dynasty. This grand courtroom holds handmade paintings with pure gold and motifs and wax statues of the eminent rulers who have helped establish a great kingdom and eventually a great dynasty, the area has been innovatively turned into a gallery where people can experience the glorious yesteryear of India’s biggest and richest heritage in the purest form.

SHEESHMAHAL: The grandest and the most exquisite exhibit of the Jaipur Wax Museum. This area has been designed into a magnificent mirror work splendor - The Sheesh Mahal has traditional thikri mirror work, a craft that dates back many centuries. This enthralling mirror work displays nothing less than 2.5 million glass pieces to create spectacular optical illusions. With real gold and gem artwork, stunning crystal chandeliers and other precious trinkets this ‘Palace of Mirrors’ is a sight to behold! This Sheesh Mahal is the only Palace of Mirrors in the world which has a beautifully designed glass flooring.

Visitors are also welcome to enjoy antique artifacts, a royal buggy (Chariot) and interactive fiber statues. Another eye-catching feature of the museum is its well-stocked souvenir shop. The shop is built like a treasure chest, and is structurally the biggest treasure chest in India - a metaphor for the beautiful gifts you can take home to your loved ones that they are sure to treasure.

The Jaipur Wax Museum is the brain child of Anoop Srivastava & an initiative of Entertainment7 Creative Ventures Pvt Ltd, and has been ranked as a No. 1 tourist destination on TRIP ADVISOR in the Jaipur museum category by worldwide visitors.

Come and experience a slice of your favorite icons life-like memories with their wax and silicon sculptures displayed in the most relevant, reliable and memorable settings.
